Edge of Focus

Series inspired by the aesthetics of contemporary experimental pinhole photography. The paintings balance on the edge of abstraction, deliberately stretching the rules of correct watercolor technique. The city loses its clear contours here - the image moves and shifts, and sharpness gives way to atmosphere. These are spaces more felt than recognized.
